Sub Rosa Dictum – Spoken under the rose
“Sub Rosa Dictum” means spoken under roses. It comes from an ancient legend that says roses were sent as a sign of secrecy in an amorous adventure. Later – in ancient Rome – a rose was hung from the ceiling during secret meetings to urge those present to exercise discretion. And that’s exactly how our events should be: discreet and confidential.
SubRosaDictum is organizing extraordinary fetish and BDSM parties in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Spain and France since 2008. Events that always take place at changing, extraordinary locations, on irregular dates, each time the motto and the event is a little different.

And why now a first small step in Cape Town? The founder and producer of the Sub Rosa fell in love with this wonderful place a year ago and decided to spend some time here. Since the parties are his passion, SubRosa will be there as well. He just can’t help it:-)
